Concept #1: Competency. A point in the movie where there was competency was towards the end of the film. The younger group which consisted of Gordy, Chris, Teddy, and Vern went out searching in an attempt to find the missing body of a boy who became big news in the area. The older group who were the main antagonist in the film which consisted of Ace, Eyeball, Billy, and Charlie. The younger group beat them to the body first on feet. The older group showed up not too much time later. The groups conflicted and got into an argument over who should take the body. They were very competitive. When it was all said and done, the older group left first and the younger group thought it was best to make a anonymous call for the body and that's what they did.
